For this century home in the westend of Toronto, the owners needed a more functional kitchen and wanted a more connected and modern space.
To help them, we gutted and swapped the kitchen and the TV room and removed a dividing brick wall.
Mark and Lisa moved into a six-story home built into the side of a ravine. The house was beautiful but came with significant structural challenges. They also wanted to re-do the kitchen and the laundry room. The outdoor roof tile deck was structurally compromised. The entire roof had to removed, reframed and retiled.
Cindy and John were looking to maximize the backyard space of their westside Toronto home. Space was tight but their dreams were big. They wanted a stationary pool and space where they could host friends and family for BBQs. In the past, we have helped them upgrade their front porch into an entrance vestibule and transform their basement into a nanny suite. So when they were looking for help to improve their backyard, they called Oriel.
This 3 bedroom home in Brockton which is located in the West End of Toronto was built in the 60’s. Eric & Reiko knew they needed help to get their family home feeling more functional and looking more contemporary. Oriel Renovations did just that.
Celine and Steven live in an old Toronto home that was initially a multi-unit apartment house. We first worked with them to transform it into a single-family home, primarily working on the second and third floors. The most recent job was to modernize the first floor while carefully integrating with their home’s historic character.
We’ve helped Craig upgrade his home a number of times over the years. Most recently, we redid his living room, opening up the space to improve sight lines and to give the room a more modern feel. To update the look, we redid the floors, drywall, and trim and installed a bookshelf, fireplace, and pot lights.
Barb was looking to upgrade her outdated kitchen in her eastside Toronto home. She is a client we have had the pleasure of working with on various projects over the years including her upstairs bathroom renovation, and dealt with a number of waterproofing issues and other exterior finishes.
Jenna and Chris needed help updating their older home on the east side of Toronto. The floors were in bad shape, the bathroom was awkward, and the kitchen was small and would often trip the breakers.
Veronique and her husband Guillaume live with their two kids in Bloor West Village in a three-bedroom semi-detached home. When they moved into the house, the main floor’s kitchen, dining and living room were divided and cramped. The floors and the stairs were worn down from over a hundred years of use. The stairs were definitely not to code and did not feel safe for their kids.
