Riverdale Multi-Room Renovation

Barb and Brent wanted to renovate their third floor office and bathroom space, and add an extra basement bathroom, in order to add flare and functionality to their Riverdale home. They also needed extra storage space in their basement.

Having won the 2024 Oriel Design Contest, they were all set to work with one of our favourite designers, Keely McCleary. The challenge was to comfortably reorient the existing spaces and provide extra utilities, without adding an addition on their home.

Upstairs, we added a curbless, walk-in shower, a stand-alone tub, heated floors, inset track lighting and custom millwork in order to maximize the cupboard space within the existing roofline. In the basement, we turned the extra utility room space into a new powder room, featuring a deep blue epoxy floor, and added a bespoke storage closet under the stairs.
