Westend Toronto First-floor Kitchen and Living Room Renovation

For this century home in the westend of Toronto, the owners needed a more functional kitchen and wanted a more connected and modern space.

To help them, we gutted and swapped the kitchen and the TV room and removed a dividing brick wall. We ran new plumbing and electrical and installed a new steel beam to support the house. We relevelled the subfloors and put down new hardwood that seamlessly blended the old with the new flooring. We also added dimmable pot lights, ceiling fixtures, and wall sconces.

In the kitchen, we installed a new sink, custom cabinets, floating shelves, and a quartz countertop with a peninsula. We also finished the kitchen with a new backsplash, appliances, and a gas stove.
