Roncesvalles first-floor renovation blended with historic character

Celine and Steven live in an old Toronto home that was initially a multi-unit apartment house. We first worked with them to transform it into a single-family home, primarily working on the second and third floors. The most recent job was to modernize the first floor while carefully integrating with their home’s historic character. 

We removed and gutted their kitchen, living room, and front vestibule. We installed new radiant floor heating with hardwood throughout. Brick window openings were expanded and custom Pella windows were installed. Their kitchen was upgraded to include a large island and dining area with built-in bench seating. In the front hall, we blended modern finishings with the existing hard-wood staircase.
